This tour is the perfect way to
acquaint yourself with heritage of the island. The road from Hvar
town to Stari Grad provides stunning views, along the way you will
have stops for photos. After a gentle ride with our eight seater
van, we will stop in Stari Grad (literally Old Town), the oldest
settlement on Hvar island, founded by the ancient Greeks in 385/384
BC.
After leaving Stari Grad, following the road to the east along
Stari Grad Plain (UNESCO protected World Heritage Site) we arrive
in picturesque Vrboska, old fishing harbour known for bridges and
church-fortress.
After short break, the van proceeds through Jelsa and across small
villages goes back to Hvar town where you will be able to
absorb more interesting history from our friendly professional
guide.
